September Challenge

Hi everyone, Our Challenge for September was flowers and once again we received some magnificent entries. Well done everyone. You don't make it easy to pick a winner. In fact we had a 3 way tie between these three entries....see below. The only fair way to pick a winner was a random draw and the winner of the people's choice went to Shakerah for the purple card. (The top card was also hers). We gave the judge's choice to Pam for her little tin that she made. Aren't they all gorgeous!! Well done girls.        There was also a tie for second place, but all of the cards had a few votes.  Here they all are... Shirley Rhonda Maralene Rhonda Rhonda Pam Rhonda Thanks everyone for your entries.

June Challenge - Under the sea

Hi everyone, It seems I neglected to put up the photos for the June challenge, which was under the sea. We had some wonderful cards and great ideas for this one. Here are all the cards and as best I can remember the makers. If any are wrong, let me know and I'll fix them up. August Challenge - Acetate

Congratulations to our winners for the August challenge.  The challenge this month was acetate and it was a bit tricky, but the cards that were entered were all great. So many different ways to use acetate. Maralene won the People's Choice prize for her lovely easel card. Maralene used an Amy Design die for the top section of this card and the new Sue Wilson Christmas Rose for the flowers and leaves.  Lyn recieved the Judge's Choice prize for her lovely embossed sticker card.  It's a bit hard to see in the photo but Lyn applied Stickles all over the embossed area and has added glitter behind the red sticker in the centre.  Here are the other entries: Lyn Shirley  Glenda M Glenda M Glenda M I don't often have or mention personal favourites but this is my personal favourite - just because of the style and colours, but also I love the way Glenda placed acetate over the front, which is als

July Challenge

Hi everyone, Here we are again with the cards for the challenge. The challenge for July was  Christmas in July .  What better way to get you in the mood to start your Christmas cards for the year :) As always the card were outstanding and again I thank you all for participating.  Congratulations to our winners Shirley received the judges choice for this wonderful easel card.  The centre is vellum and you can't really see it but there is a battery operated tea light candle behind this, which looks fantastic in dim light.  Rhonda received the voters choice for her lovely silver, white and blue card.  A lovely technique on the dove that I've been itching to try - it's a distress bleach technique. Congratulations girls you both receive a voucher for your creations. Congrats again to everyone else too....it's so hard to just pick one winner. Maralene Rhonda Glenda M Rhonda

October Card Challenge

It has been brought to my attention that I forgot to put up the cards for the October challenge last year. The challenge was baubles.  Now I will apologize in advance (again) as I didn't make note of who made which card so I'm doing this purely from memory. If I get one wrong please let me know.
