Class cards from June

Here are some more cards that we made back in June last year.
This one is made using the Bo Bunny "Timepiece" collection. I just loooove these papers! A simple layered card with an organza bow and Le Suh 3D.

This embroidered card was designed by my Mum, Patricia. As soon as the girls in class saw it there was lots of  "oohs and aahs" and I was asked if we could make it in class. It really is a beautiful card and the 3D came in a few different colours so there were some nice colour combinations.

A week later we did this version of the card. Again in a variety of different colours.

June was the anniversary of Evelyn Wilkinson's passing. I had the privilege of working with Evelyn and knew her for about 8 years. She was a huge influence on me and a great mentor. She was the one who told me that I could teach classes. I would NEVER have thought I could, but she saw something in me that I didn't know was there. I will always be grateful to Evelyn for her fait…

November Competition Winner

It's been a while since I posted anything again. My apologies ladies. I have been very slack I know, but with being so busy before Christmas I desperately needed a break. So I did nothing over Christmas...literally nothing! It was great but of course now that means I have lots of catching up to do again. Classes started two weeks ago so I've been busy designing cards and I'll try my hardest to get them up on the blog here for you soon. In the meantime here are the cards that were entered into the November competition and the winner...
Maralene

Maralene's card had lots of work in it and unfortunately the  photo doesn't show it to it's full beauty. The silver butterfly didn't photograph very well at all. Each butterfly is coloured individually and the background has been inked.
Thank you to everyone else who entered as well. All fantastic cards and as always I wish there could be more than one winner. Here are the other cards in no particular order.
