Trinitage Box Workshop

I'm running a workshop for the above Trinitage Box this month. Designed by Jenelle Muller, it's a great little box for a birthday or even Christmas gift. You can combine a card and gift in one, with room in the drawer for a small present. Or you could simply use it as storage. If you eliminate the top section, you could stack a few drawers together and have a nice little storage solution for flowers, ribbons or dies and have it sitting on your work space. Details for the workshop are as follows: Dates: Thursday 18 th August – 9:30am – 1pm Sunday 28 th August – 9:30am – 1pm Cost - $25 Bookings are essential as places are limited. Please email me kookacft@bigpond.com to book your place. Tea, Coffee & Biscuits will be available for morning tea & sandwiches supplied for lunch. If you are unable to attend in person but would like a kit please contact me and I can arrange a kit to be posted to you. I will even post overseas for the cost of the kit plus a smal

Congratulations

It's taken me a while to get this photo off my phone and it's not the best picture I'm afraid, but I just wanted to say a big congratulations to Dorothy. Dorothy is one of my customers who took one of our class cards and altered it, did her own thing with it and entered her card into the recent Woodford show. Dorothy won 1st prize with this card in the "punched card" section and when you see it in person you can see why. It's just gorgeous! Well done Dorothy :)

August competition

Hi  everyone, There are so many beautiful dies coming out on the market now and they are so hard to resist! Every time I turn around there are new ones coming out and the card samples that showcase them are so gorgeous that of course you have to have every single one!!! So many dies, so many cards to make...so little time!     So this months competition is going to be a card or project using a die or lots of dies. I know most of us have Cuttlebugs and Big Shots these days, but there are some who don't, so if you wish you may also make a card using a punch. Or else come and see me and I'll gladly die cut some shapes for you to make your card :) I can't wait to see what you all come up with!   To get you interested and to get you thinking about what you can do, here is a stunning card that my design team member Jenelle made for us last week. This is just to show you what sort of thing you can do for your card or project.     TO ENTER: Simply make a card, scrapbooking page

And the winner is.....

Lisa! Lisa made this beautiful embroidered card.  The embroidery alone is a lot of work but the 3D was all cut by hand too (not a die cut) and Lisa's attention to detail is always impeccable. The amount of work involved in this card is what won Lisa the prize money. Congratulations Lisa :) I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for entering the competition and I hope you will all join in the fun for the next one. I'll show you now all the cards entered...all of which are beautiful in their own way. Well done to all of you. You did an amazing job! I'm glad I wasn't judging the competition!!!!! This card was made by design team member Jenelle .   two more entries from Lisa 3 entries from Patricia 2 entries from Judi Kathy Shakerah 2 entries from Maralene Mavis Margaret Thanks again everyone. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the next one!
