I'm back...

Hi everyone, I'm finally back on track after having a lot of computer problems. My old computer was dying a slow death so I had to replace it with a new one, which also gave me some hassles. It didn't want to connect to the internet and then had to go back to the shop, so I was without a computer or the internet for a couple of weeks. But thankfully it is all good now...I hope (fingers crossed). I've received some new stock in and we've made some beautiful (if I do say so myself) cards in the last few weeks. I'll try to upload the pictures of them all in the next few days...I have lots of catching up to do now that I finally have all my programs installed again. It's amazing how lost we feel without the computer and internet isn't it. You don't realize how much you rely on them until they are gone. Anyway, I'll catch up soon. Love

Week 13 - Card 2 - Teddy Easel Card

A quick and simple card using the background section of the Reddy 3D sheet we used the previous week. These teddy bears are so cute aren't they!! The punch is a Martha Stewart punch and when cut correctly it is perfect for the little tag at the bottom of the card. All card used is Bazzill Basics and the stamp is a Kaisercraft clear stamp.

Week 13 Card 1 - Blossom Two Doily

This week I designed a card around a brilliant idea one of my students showed me. The original that I saw was done with a different die, but I just love this one using the Spellbinders Blossom Two die. It's one of those Nestabilitie sets that I just "had to have" and then hardly every used..until I saw this idea. I just loved it and it uses so little card to make. The papers that I decided to use are from Echo Park's Be Mine collection. I think the pink, grey and white combination works so well together. (Please excuse the photography). The stamp is a free one that I picked up with a magazine but it and the rose and the pearls in the centre of the doily design really bling the card up a bit. It just needed that little something else...you know what I mean? Oh and of course lets not forget the bow...
