Coming soon from Pink Paislee

Coming Soon is this gorgeous range from Pink Paislee. Called Butterfly Gardens it is inspired by Mother Nature's most beautiful and delicate creature. It has a distintive vintage feel to it and I'm sure we will see some fantastic cards and scrapbook pages made with these papers.

Week 4 class cards - Echo Park

Ok, this week we used papers from Echo Park's Be Mine collection. Another beautiful range of papers that I have in store at the moment. I've used Bazzill Basics Coal for the card and then layered Dotted Swiss Sunset Rose followed by Love Letters by Echo Park. For this part of the card I've used the Sunset Rose card again, followed by Echo Park's Graphite/Lace and then Rose Bouquet. The label is Spellbinders Labels 17 and the 3D image is from Le Suh. The stamp I've used is from the Just Rite nested sentiments All Occasions set Some bling in the corners from Kaisercraft. Card number 2 was inspired by a card I saw on another blog. For this one I've used papers from the same range as above. This time I've used Black Damask, Script Polka Dots, Love Letters and French Rose/Ash. The Sizzix Bigz Die 3-D Flowers was used to cut out this flower and then I rolled it around to create this rose. A Kaisercraft Pearl in the middle just gives it a nice finish.

Week 3 Class Cards

Card number 1 was something I'd been requested to teach a while ago. It's a Bookatrix card made using the Bookatrix board from the Glitter Girls in the UK. I just love these cards, especially for those special occasions (weddings, engagements, 21st birthdays). They really are something extra special and honestly are quite quick and easy to make. For the card I've used Bazzill Basics cardstock in white and two shades of purple and then the final layer is vellum. I finished the edges off with Starform stickers in gold. On the right side is a gold foil scalloped oval from Spellbinders small scalloped ovals. Decorated with roses and a blossom from Green Tara. On the left side is a Kanban Sentiments Topper  Card number two was inspired by a card I received at Christmas from one of my students. For this card I've used Bazzill Basics cardstock in a pale grey and coal. I've then used Crevat DS paper from  Kaisercrafts After Five range. I used double sided satin ri

Week 2 class cards

I know I've been slack at updating the blog the last couple of weeks but I'll try to get it up to date this week. I had a nasty toothache last week and it made it hard for me to get anything done. i just couldn't concentrate, but thankfully it's gone now so I can try to catch up. Firstly here are the cards we made in our second week of classes. The first is a vintage card using  Madison Avenue papers from My Mind's Eye. I've used Pretty Dress Shop and Sisters Lace on this card for the background and the punched strips down the side. These strips were punched with a Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. The 3D is a Reddy Die Cut and I've used girlfriends J'Adore paper for the distressed piece of script behind the 3D. The locket is from Spellbinders "Timeless Heritage " Card Number Two was also made using Madison Avenue Papers from My  Minds Eye. My inspiration here was two cards made using the same papers but in totally different style
